Julie Richardson

Born in Fareham and lived in South Hampshire all of my life.

I have always had a passion for photography it was always something I thought I would like to try but raising a family it seemed to keep that interest in the background for many years.  But since meeting my partner Dave five years ago my love for photography has grown from strength to strength.

When the digital camera came along photography got easier with the beauty of wildlife and stunning sceneries that can be found I was hooked. From then on I wanted to learn as much as I could about the camera the settings, focal length, etc. and how to get a really good image so I started to read everything I could about photography and embarked on several courses at colleges.  Southdown’s Digital Imaging and web design and Eastleigh BTEC level 1 in Photography. My photography passion had begun!

We both use Nikon cameras the D3100 and D5100.  I love macro photography in which I was recently in the N-Photo magazine for Nikon camera users as an apprentice for day being taught by professional Heather Angel at Studley Grange Butterfly Park in Swindon.
